Important Usage Notes
Proper sequencing is essential for long service life. Always:
- Confirm your antenna presents a low VSWR before transmitting
- Cut RF power before switching states
- Switch the TR switch to TX before applying transmit power
- Allow brief settling time when transitioning from TX back to RX before re-enabling your receiver front end
Full switching sequences typically complete within 10–20 microseconds when properly implemented. Following the recommended sequencing procedure ensures maximum lifespan and protects both your transmitter and this module from overshoot or mismatch damage.
