A DC injector (BIAS-Tee) is often used to make the antenna coaxial cable carry a DC voltage to/from the radio shack to the antenna, without needing for a second separate DC cable.
One unit can be used at the shack for sending the DC power and a second unit on the antenna site. The RF performance is not compromised.
