Integrated LNA – Uses the industry-proven Mini-Circuits PGA-103+ for excellent low-noise amplification
Built-in T/R Switching –
Two AXICOM HF353 high-power relays (up to 40W @ 3 GHz) switch the LNA out during transmit to protect it
Two additional OMRON G6K-2P-Y RF relays enhance isolation during transmission
Low Insertion Loss – Minimal relay loss at lower frequencies; slight increase (~0.4 dB) around 1 GHz due to small-signal relays
Fail-Safe Operation – When unpowered, the antenna port is directly connected to the XCVR (transceiver) port for bypass mode
Automatic Switching – When powered with 12 VDC (~190 mA), the relays activate to route the signal through the LNA for receive
Wide Voltage Support – Onboard voltage regulator accepts a wide DC input range
5V Output Header – Auxiliary 5V DC pad available on the board for powering other modules or directly feeding the LNA
